* $49.40 per hour + Super
* Contract opportunity - ASAP start until 1st of May
* Monday to Friday 36.25 hours per week
Hudson is currently partnering with a large government organisation to source an experienced Program Support Officer to join a busy Northern Queensland team based in Townsville. This role will play a key part in supporting the delivery of a district-wide program of works across a geographically diverse region.

About the role
* Providing comprehensive administrative and coordination support across a district-wide program of works
* Coordinating meetings and workshops, including preparing agendas, taking minutes and tracking actions.
* Maintaining program documentation, registers, trackers, reports and spreadsheets to support monitoring and reporting
* Supporting accurate and timely information flow across the program to ensure schedules and deliverables are met
* Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders, managing enquiries and coordinating follow-up actions
* Supporting compliance with policies, procedures, legislation and governance requirements
* Contributing to a positive, collaborative team culture and continuous improvement initiatives
About you To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
* Strong proficiency across the Microsoft Office Suite and business systems
* Previous experience providing administrative or program support within a project, program or operational environment
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with a range of stakeholders
* Proven ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and maintain accurate, high-quality documentation
* Strong organisational skills with a proactive and adaptable approach to work
* Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a small, collaborative team
Mandatory requirements
* Current C Class Driver's Licence
* Ability to undergo a Criminal History Check
