The Role
Reporting to the Chief People Officer and Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for payroll and workforce management streams of Doutta Galla's HRMS project. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring the timely, accurate, and effective implementation of payroll and rostering processes in the new system.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and ensure the effective implementation of workforce management and payroll modules within the HRMS project.
* Responsible for data migration and system testing, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with payroll requirements.
* Manage and analyse parallel runs between legacy and new systems, identifying discrepancies and driving resolution to ensure payroll accuracy.
* Review, streamline, and design new payroll and workforce management processes aligned to best practice and system capability.
* Act as a key point of contact for stakeholder management, engaging HR, Finance, IT, stakeholders and respective department leaders.
* Identify, assess, and actively manage project and payroll-related risks, developing mitigation strategies as required.
* Lead and support the implementation team, providing guidance, direction, and issue resolution throughout the project.
Experience and Skills
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* PMP certification and/or equivalent experience delivering complex payroll or HRMS projects.
* Senior Australian payroll qualifications with strong award interpretation knowledge.
* End-to-end experience in payroll and workforce management, including system implementation, testing, and go-live.
* Strong capability in project planning, risk management, and problem-solving.
* Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and teamwork skills.
* Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities and timelines.
* Eligibility to work in Aged Care and unrestricted working rights in Australia.
