Job Description
- Oversee end-to-end payroll - approx. 2,000 employees
- Ensure compliance with Australian payroll legislation and award agreements
- Maintain and update payroll records with a high level of accuracy
- Respond to payroll-related queries and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Prepare and submit payroll reports to internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance department on payroll reconciliations
- Support the implementation of process improvements in payroll operations
- Assist in audits related to payroll functions
- Lead the team: 2 direct reports
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have:
- 5+ years of end-to-end payroll experience
- Previous experience in payroll leadership
- Industry experience a bonus (not essential)
- Proficiency in payroll software- ideally Tech One
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data integrity
- Available immediately or within short notice
