Technical Leadership Position
A challenging role for a highly experienced Technical Director is available in the Ports & Marine sector.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and delivering large-scale, technically complex structural engineering projects.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing strategic technical direction and leadership across project lifecycles
* Mentoring engineers at all levels to support capability development and succession planning
* Ensuring rigorous compliance with local and international maritime codes and standards
* Proactively managing risk and safety considerations
* Building and sustaining strong client and stakeholder relationships
* Collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, high-impact engineering solutions
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Extensive experience in structural engineering, with recent experience in ports and marine projects
* Recognised qualification (Associate Diploma, Bachelor of Engineering Technology or Similar)
* Proven project management and design experience dealing with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of seniority
* Track record of technical expertise delivering Ports and Marine projects
* Advanced knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices, particularly in marine environments
