Elections Project Advisor (two roles)

•Full-Time, Fixed Term (until February 2027)
•VPS Grade 4.1 ($97,955 - $111,142 plus superannuation)

•Location update: This role will commence at 530 Collins Street, Melbourne, and relocate to 465 Plummer Street, Port Melbourne from November 2025.

What you will be doing

Reporting directly to the Manager, Candidate Services, this role will be responsible for:

* The planning, conduct and delivery of a key candidate services project
* Designing and implementing procedures and processes that support the delivery of electoral events within the Event Strategy and Delivery branch
* Leading the creation of in-depth guidance materials for candidates and campaigners
* Managing a small team of project officers and casual staff to conduct key deliverables

What you will bring to the role

* Demonstrated experience in the delivery of projects
* Proven experience leading and monitoring a team involved in multiple projects
* High-level verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced business environment
* Commitment to the VEC's core values
