Warehouse Storeperson – Service Stream, Wetherill Park, NSW
As a Warehouse Storeperson, you will play a vital role in supporting the efficient operation of Service Stream's warehouse and logistics functions. This role requires strong organisational skills, a safety first mindset, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching materials while maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring a clean, safe working environment.
This is a full‐time permanent position based at our warehouse facility.
About the Role
* Receive, inspect, and process incoming goods and materials.
* Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch.
* Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock counts and cycle counts.
* Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and in compliance with regulations (where licensed).
* Ensure all warehouse areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards.
* Manage documentation including delivery dockets, manifests, and inventory records.
* Support inventory control, stock rotation, and storage optimisation.
* Liaise with internal teams, drivers, and suppliers to coordinate deliveries and dispatch.
* Assist with loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency.
Skills and Experience
* Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or storeperson role.
* Forklift licence (LF/LO) preferred but not essential.
* Strong understanding of warehouse processes including receiving, dispatch, and stock control.
* Experience using inventory or warehouse management systems (WMS).
* Ability to safely lift, move, and handle materials.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
* Good communication skills and ability to work with both internal and external stakeholders.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
* Basic computer skills (email, data entry, inventory systems).
Qualifications
* Forklift licence (desirable).
* Relevant certificates in warehousing or logistics (preferred but not required).
* Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to WHS standards.
