The incredible opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Engineer Application Platforms & Data to design and operate the cloud services layer that powers our global satellite IoT platform. In this role, you will lead the technical development of critical cloud infrastructure, focusing on building a robust, custom data integration platform to synchronize core business systems (CRMs, ERPs, and cloud data warehouses). You will design serverless architectures that automate our event-driven data pipelines, eliminate manual data entry, and monitor the complete lifecycle of our IoT devices from manufacturing to deployment.
Stuff we’ll trust you to do
Implement specialized AI-driven operational tooling, such as Triage Agents and Anomaly Detection models, to monitor network telemetry and proactively identify system degradation.
Design tooling for AI-assisted root cause analysis (RCA) and synthetic security testing to drastically accelerate incident diagnostics and fault resolution.
Automate critical operational workflows, including service-provider pass-through handling, to move towards a human-out-of-the-loop operational model.
Build custom serverless APIs (e.g., AWS Lambda) to securely integrate and share data across enterprise platforms, including CRM, ERP, accounting, and payment gateways.
Implement event-driven architectures and real-time triggers to automate workflows, such as synchronizing order creations, updating product stock, and capturing invoice payments.
Develop automated device lifecycle and telemetry monitoring pipelines that track the customer journey from manufacturing, fulfillment data, and device registration to initial network usage events.
Develop backend APIs for customer-facing management portals, giving end-users real-time secure access to device status, usage, service history, and billing information.
What we’ll like about you
4+ years of backend or platform engineering experience.
Advanced Python proficiency for service development, automated scripts, and custom data integrations.
Extensive AWS ecosystem experience, with a strong focus on serverless runtime deployments (Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge/CloudWatch, DynamoDB, RDS).
Strong API design and RESTful services experience, particularly with third-party enterprise system integrations.
Database design experience (relational and NoSQL), specifically with SQL databases and cloud data warehousing, alongside Linux and bash scripting.
Experience with automated consumption-based billing or hardware/IoT data pipelines, paired with a collaborative, mission-driven mindset.
