AWS Professional Service are hiring a highly technical Cloud Architect specialised in Data Analytics and GenAI to collaborate with our customers and partners to derive business value from the latest Data Analytics and GenAI services.
Our consultants will develop and deliver proof-of-concept projects technical workshops and support complex projects.
These professional services engagements will focus on customer solutions such as batch real-time data capture and analysis driving data driven decisions and desired customer outcomes.
Key job responsibilitiesExpertise :
Collaborate with pre-sales and delivery teams to help partners and customers learn and use services such as AWS Glue Amazon S3 Amazon DynamoDB Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS) Amazon Elastic Map Reduce (EMR) Amazon Kinesis Amazon Redshift Amazon Athena AWS Lake Formation Amazon DataZone Amazon SageMaker Amazon Quicksight and Amazon Bedrock.
Solutions :
Deliver technical engagements with partners and customers.
This includes participating in pre-sales visits understanding customer requirements creating consulting proposals and creating packaged data analytics service offerings.
Delivery :
Engagements include projects proving the use of AWS services to support new distributed computing solutions that often span private cloud and public cloud services.
Engagements may include migration and modernisation of existing data applications and development of new data applications using AWS cloud services.

5 years of IT implementation experience
Experience facilitating discussions with senior leadership regarding technical / architectural trade-offs best practices and risk mitigation
Experience and technical expertise (design and implementation) in cloud computing technologies
Experience with AWS data warehouse and reporting technologies like Redshift Athena S3 etc.
Experience in strategic thinking about business enterprise software products and new technology platforms and architectures or equivalent
Experience in design and execution of analytics projects
Experience in quantitative role (engineering process re-engineering quality assurance) or experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence
Experience implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environments
4 years of external or internal customer facing complex and large scale project management experience or AWS Professional level certification
