This is aFixed-term, Part-Time appointment working 45.6 hours per fortnight,starting as soon as possible until 30th June****.

Both of these options remain valid for a periodof twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorsesthe recruitment decision.
Position Profile
We are seeking to appoint asuitably experienced and enthusiastic person to the position ofClinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) - Prostate Cancer Specialist Nurse(PCSN). The PCSN is responsible for the delivery of quality patientcare of men with prostate cancer from the point of diagnosisthrough post-treatment side effect management and survivorshipcare. The PCSN is responsible for developing standards of practice,implementing changes to clinical & management practices, initiatingresearch and quality improvement activities and the provision of aconsultation service within their area of expertise to all relevantcustomers within the Hospital and Health Service. The PCSN willwork within a multidisciplinary team and focus on patientassessment, health optimisation and coordination of care includingsurvivorship.
