We are seeking an ambitious and curious-minded technical professional to join our team. Reporting to a Production Manager, you will be responsible for competency-based training and assessment of operators in operating the Utilities, Ammonia, Storage and Ship Loading areas in a safe and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare and implement training and assessment modules for different competency levels of operating Plant Systems and Equipment under various plant conditions and in various areas of the YPF Plant
* Liaise with other trainers for any training synergies and strategies that can impact and improve operator performance
* Train and assess operators to perform basic, routine, abnormal and advanced operations in all plant areas in accordance with company policy and within Standard Operating Conditions and Limits (SOCL) to maintain a consistent standard of safety, productivity and reliability
* Train and assess operators to execute start-up and shut-down of plant and equipment; to comply with operator routines including laboratory sampling/analysis; to prepare plant equipment for maintenance repairs and returns to service in a safe and efficient manner as per Work Instruction
* Review and approve operator check lists, SOPs, work instructions etc.
The role requires Process Plant Operator Certificate IV, Chemical Engineering or equivalent, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Chemical/petrochemical industry. You must have leadership behaviours, understanding of the Supply Chain process, and advanced Team Member participation. You will also require knowledge of SAP or equivalent Computerized Management System related to the Department, and Fluent English is essential.
