You will also be responsible for extracting and integrating data from cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure into centralized data warehouses. This position requires deep technical expertise in integration platforms, SQL-based systems, and cloud data environments.This is a full-time, 12-month position based in Rivervale, with the flexibility to work from home two days per week.We'll also be asking you to:Design and Implement Integration Solutions: Develop end-to-end integrations between systems using APIs or data pipelines (e.g., Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Boomi).Manage Data Extraction and Integration: Extract and integrate data from cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) into data warehouse environments (e.g., Redshift, Azure Synapse).Develop and Manage APIs: Create, consume, and manage RESTful and/or SOAP APIs for system interoperability and real-time data exchange.Translate Business Requirements into Technical Solutions: Convert business and data requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable integration solutions.To be considered for this role, you'll need:Extensive Experience in System Integration: Over 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL, SSIS) and API-based integration methods.Proficiency in Building Integration Pipelines: Demonstrated ability to construct integration pipelines using tools like Azure Data Factory or equivalent platforms.Solid Understanding of API Protocols: In-depth knowledge of API protocols such as REST and SOAP, with practical experience using tools like Postman or Swagger for testing and documentation.Strong Skills in Logic Building and Workflow Automation: Expertise in designing complex logic, automating workflows, and modeling data to streamline processes.Experience with Version Control and Deployment Tools: Proficiency in using version control systems like Git and deployment tools such as Azure DevOps.Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.Analytical and Communication Skills: Strong analytical abilities coupled with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Kindly note, if your application progresses to an interview, we'll be asking for:National Police Clearance - current within 6 months (or evidence of application)About us:Established over 50 years ago, Southern Cross Care WA is a purpose-driven, not-for-profit organisation contributing to social, health and economic development in WA.
