About The Role

We're looking for an experienced Payroll Analyst to join our People & Culture team on a maximum term contract, supporting the delivery of an accurate, compliant and customer focused payroll service across BOQ Group. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring our people are paid correctly and on time, every time. You'll manage end to end payroll processing for enterprise and packaged employees, working closely with People Services, HR partners and external agencies. With a strong eye for detail and a calm, methodical approach, you'll confidently handle everything from fortnightly pay runs to ad hoc, back pay and termination calculations. You'll also be a trusted point of contact for payroll enquiries, responding through our ticketing system and providing practical, professional support to employees and the wider HR team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast‐paced environment, values accuracy and compliance, and takes pride in delivering great service behind the scenes.

About You

You're an experienced payroll professional who knows how important accuracy, confidentiality and consistency are in payroll. You bring a strong understanding of end‐to‐end payroll processes and legislation, and you're confident navigating high volume environments without missing the details that matter.

You'll Bring

* Solid experience working in a payroll function
* Strong hands‐on experience using Chris21, with Workday exposure highly regarded
* A sound understanding of payroll legislation, including tax, superannuation, EBAs and salary packaging
* Intermediate Excel skills and confidence working with data
* A customer focused mindset, with the ability to explain payroll matters clearly and professionally

Just as importantly, you're proactive, organised and approachable. You enjoy solving problems, supporting others, and being part of a collaborative People & Culture team that's focused on doing the right thing for its people.
