About the Client

Our client is a well‑established WA‑based engineering, construction and maintenance provider delivering high‑quality projects across resources, infrastructure and utilities. They emphasise safety, sustainable practices and long‑term development for their people.

About the Role

WorkPac are seeking an experienced, hands-on Contracts Administrator to support the delivery of major construction and utilities projects. This position is site-based with regular travel to the West Perth office. You will play a key role in financial oversight, supplier management, and ensuring commercial success across project operations.

Key Responsibilities

* Identify areas of commercial and financial risk and implement mitigation strategies
* Undertake project forecasting, financial modelling, performance reporting and cost control
* Manage supplier procurement activities and negotiate commercial terms
* Oversee supplier engagement including payments, variations, claims and extensions of time
* Prepare and submit monthly progress claims
* Work closely with leadership and project teams to manage financial and commercial performance

Skills and Experience Required

* Qualification in Contract Management or Quantity Surveying (preferred)
* Proven experience in procurement and commercial administration within construction or utilities
* Strong financial and commercial acumen including claims preparation and negotiation
* High proficiency in Excel, Word and general IT systems
* Ability to identify and address commercial and financial risks proactively
* Strong work ethic and commitment to building positive culture
* Exceptional communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
* High attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
* Minimum two years' relevant experience within Australia
