The role of an early childhood educator is:
* To support and collaborate with a quality team.
* Support quality learning outcomes for children.
* To develop and maintain strong relationships between educators, families, and children.
* To help develop and deliver an inquiry-based program that is linked to the EYLF curriculum that fosters children's learning and development.
* Follow and comply with all regulations, including Wantirna South ELC's policies and procedures.
* Collaborate, motivate, and inspire a high performing team in pedagogy, program, and practice.
To be considered, you will:
* Hold a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
* Have a positive attitude and passionate approach.
* Have at least 12 months' experience working in early childhood education settings
* Have sound knowledge / Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework
* Have sound knowledge of the National Quality Standards (NQS) and Education and Care Services National Regulations
* Hold a current Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain one)
* Hold current First Aid, CPR, and Emergency Asthma Management certificates
* Have Australian working rights or valid visa with work permissions
