Job Title: Concrete Site Quality Specialist
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of concrete on construction sites, adhering to Australian Standards and NATA requirements.
About the Role:
* We are seeking a highly skilled Concrete Site Quality Specialist to join our team in ensuring compliance with industry standards.
* The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in sampling and testing fresh concrete, as well as collecting and preparing test samples for laboratory analysis.
* This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting site inspections, recording data, and reporting any discrepancies or non-compliance issues to the laboratory supervisor.
* Collaboration with lab technicians is essential for this position, as the specialist will assist with compression and other strength tests on cured concrete specimens.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct regular site visits to inspect concrete quality and ensure adherence to Australian standards.
2. Sampling and testing fresh concrete as per Australian standards on construction sites.
3. Collecting concrete test samples from construction sites – typically from 3–5 sites per day.
4. Assisting lab technicians and carrying out compression and other strength tests on cured concrete specimens in our laboratory.
5. Working safely and accurately.
6. Reporting to Laboratory Supervisor.
