Mercy Family Medical Clinic is seeking a talented and dedicated Practice Nurse (RN/EEN) to join our team in Traralgon, VIC.
This is a Part-time/Full time/Casual opportunity to work closely with our experienced general practitioners and provide high-quality nursing care to our patients.
As a member of our nursing team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional healthcare services.
What you'll be doing
Assisting with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures under the supervision of general practitioners
Administering vaccines, medications, and other treatments as directed
Performing nursing assessments, vital signs monitoring, and health education for patients
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
Ensuring the clinical environment is clean, well-stocked, and compliant with infection control protocols
Providing excellent customer service and patient-centred care
Collaborating with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and optimise patient outcomes
What we're looking for
Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN) qualification and current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
Minimum 1 years experience in a general practice or primary care setting
1-2 years of general practice experience is required for this position
Strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based nursing care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Proficiency in using medical software and technology to support patient care
A passion for primary healthcare and a desire to contribute to the wellbeing of the local community
All standard healthcare vaccinations must be up to date as required for healthcare workers
