Job Title: Sales Assistant
The Salvation Army is seeking a talented, values-driven professional to support the Store Manager with day-to-day operations and provide an inspiring in-store experience for customers and community members.
This is a permanent full-time role located in Rockhampton North, QLD. You will be part of a dynamic team that makes a real difference to the community and the lives of others.
About The Role:
This role involves retail sales and operation of Point-of-Sale devices, collecting, sorting and pricing donations in store, assisting in the development and coordination visual merchandising and store presentation, providing exceptional customer service, displaying stock in correct departments, following policy and procedure, and demonstrating core values in all work-related activities.
About You:
We are looking for a high-energy individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills. A demonstrated experience in retail sales is not essential but a genuine passion and proven ability to deliver outstanding results in a rewarding, complex retail environment is required.
Additional requirements include alignment with our values of integrity, respect, compassion, collaboration, and diversity, flexibility to work a rolling roster including weekends, and preparedness to work across various locations in the retail area.
