Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Role
Join a dynamic and innovative team as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer where you will play a vital role in supporting the Helicopter Aircrew Training System (HATS) program. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting-edge EC135 Mechanical systems and associated equipment in a challenging and engaging environment.
You don't need a background in Defence aviation to be successful, we encourage all members of the Aviation trades industry to apply. If you hold Fixed or Rotary Wing qualifications and have experience in General, Civil, or Defence Aviation, we would love to hear from you.
As part of our team, you will have the chance to travel for initial training in beautiful locations like Nowra, Brisbane or Sydney – fully funded by us. Your role will involve hands-on aircraft flight-line handling, servicing Mechanical and components, ensuring compliance with maintenance documentation, and fostering a culture of safety in the workplace.
To thrive in this position, you should possess a Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical) and a knack for building strong relationships within your team. While a current B1 MAML is a plus, your previous experience with Rotary Wing Aircraft and completion of an H135 T3H Aircraft Type course will set you apart.
Health and safety are our top priorities, and you'll be expected to champion these standards by following Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to task management, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn. A passion for working in a close-knit team that upholds our positive culture is essential for success in this role.
