About the Role
Our branch located in Dandenong South is seeking a Service Advisor to join the team. The successful person will be responsible for providing administrative support to the service department and delivering excellent after-sales support to all dealership customers in a polite, friendly, and professional manner. Experience within a Service Advisor role is required.
Key Accountabilities
* Assist the Service Manager or Service Supervisor with customer calls
* Interpret specific customer problems by obtaining detailed information to assist them
* Provide prompt and courteous attention to all customer needs
* Identify additional services the customer requires that can be addressed simultaneously (e.g., repairs and previously reported items)
* Estimate costs and completion times for jobs
* Ensure all warranty repair orders are submitted within 14 days of completion
* Perform invoice processing, including opening and closing jobs
* Create purchase orders, input into the system, and authorize for payment
* Liaise with contractors to ensure invoices are received within 24 hours
* Allocate hours worked to repair orders
* Assist in warranty registration and claims
About You
* Proven ability to use Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Experience managing administration for a department
* Ability to liaise effectively with internal customers and suppliers
* Experience using Reynolds and Reynolds system
* Ability to generate system reports on services
* Ability to follow all company policies
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
