Underground Coal Miner Position

We are seeking experienced Underground Operators (including Miner Drivers) to join our team at an underground coal mine located 160 kilometres west of Mackay.
* This position is offered on a 7:7 day/night roster and can allow for a residential or FIFO lifestyle.
The successful candidate will have relevant experience in underground coal mining, including the operation of various underground mining equipment, mobile equipment, and support activities.

About This Role:
* Carrying out personal risk assessment, hazard identification, and other safety requirements relevant to the role.
* Performing underground mining activities including coal extraction using both longwall and continuous miners, primary and secondary support, and other supporting activities using a range of mining equipment to safely meet production goals.
About You:
* Relevant experience in underground coal mining, with current competencies for the operation of a variety of underground mining equipment, mobile equipment, and for carrying out support activities.
* Experience in both Development and Longwall mining operations would be highly regarded.
* A demonstrated commitment to safety and the ability to work effectively in a team are key requirements of the role.
