DFP Recruitment is urgently seeking an ICT Desktop Support for our state government client.
Primary Purpose of the Role
The IT Customer Support Officer provides face-to-face end-user support to employees. They offer advice, guidance, and resolve issues of moderate complexity. They are the first point of IT contact in buildings across NSW.
Key Accountabilities
* Promote and guide clients on following processes and provide technical support for IT issues.
* Provide face-to-face support to clients, including VIPs, and answer questions.
* Assist with technology issues and setup in meeting rooms.
* Identify major incidents and ensure they are raised through standard channels.
* Deliver excellent service and resolve client issues promptly.
* Build relationships with clients and promote adherence to processes.
* Identify process improvements to enhance client services.
* Negotiate timely resolution of incidents and service requests, coordinating with stakeholders.
