We are experiencing an exciting period of change, with a focus on providing progressive customer services through exceptional customer experience. To support our continued growth, maintain and improve business efficiencies we are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to add to our highly skilled City Services team.
About the Role
This is a newly designed role working closely with our Senior Business Analyst, to drive a culture of organisational excellence and continuous business improvement. You will be responsible for collating, analysing and interpreting data on current service delivery models to inform recommendations and strategies to improve business processes and efficiencies.
As Business Analyst you will coach and support Council staff and leaders to build capabilities, develop their knowledge and leadership around organisational excellence practices and implementation of recommendations.
About You
To be successful in this role you will possess degree qualifications in Business, Accounting, Auditing or Business Analytics, or a related discipline, coupled with proven experience, and knowledge, in Business Excellence, Lean Six Sigma and Human Centre Design or similar process improvement methodology.
You will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills demonstrated with your experience in collating, analysing and interpreting complex data, with the ability to develop and present outcomes in comprehensive and detailed reports.
Additionally, you will have highly developed verbal and written communication skills with the talent to consult, negotiate and influence by building strong relationships with stakeholders at various levels.
Benefits
This is a permanent full-time role working 35 hours per week with a base salary ranging from $91,165 - $101,193 per year based on demonstrated competencies + 12% p.a superannuation.
