Overview
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Local Community Insurance Services (LCIS) team, a division of JLT Risk Solutions at Marsh.
This position is located in Adelaide and follows a hybrid work model, requiring at least three days per week in the office.
LCIS aims to empower communities and support people in confidently pursuing their passions.
As a specialist insurance provider, we deliver tailored coverage designed to protect community groups and not-for-profit organisations throughout Australia.
Our team provides expert advice and a range of insurance options to meet the unique needs of each group.
We operate as insurance advisers and not a broker, under a binding agreement with insurers, which enables us to provide quotes and bind coverage for clients in line with our underwriting authority.

Responsibilities
Work closely with the team to manage a portfolio of clients, building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Answer telephone calls, manage emails in our group box, arrange quotations, endorsements, and new business.
Manage the renewal process for existing clients, ensuring that policies are renewed on time and that coverage remains appropriate.
Identify opportunities to provide insurance solutions that meet clients' needs and exceed their expectations.
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of clients' activities and insurance requirements.
Provide guidance on coverage options, policy terms and conditions.
Work closely with internal teams to manage policy administration, billing, finance and claims management.
Ensure that all client interactions are accurately documented on our systems and that records are maintained in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Collaborate with both the LCIS team and relevant insurers to grow the business and ensure clients are covered correctly.
Work in a call-centre type environment.
Refer clients to our website and assist clients on how to use our online quoting platform.

Qualifications
Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar account management role within the insurance industry.
Strong knowledge of insurance products and services.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experienced with client management systems.
Undertake company-directed compliance training.
RG146 Tier 1 Insurance Broking Compliance.
Call-centre experience (not afraid to take back-to-back calls).
