The team works closely with our dealer network to ensure vehicle servicing, repairs, maintenance, spare parts, accessories, technical support, training and customer care are delivered to the highest standards for our customers.
About Your New Role
We’re excited to offer this opportunity due to an internal movement within the team. As the Manager, Sales and Aftersales Training, you will lead the non-technical Sales and Aftersales training functions across Volkswagen, Škoda, and CUPRA brands. Your role will be pivotal in shaping and delivering high-impact training programs that support both dealer network performance and Volkswagen Group Australia's strategic goals
Your Main Responsibilities Will Include
* Lead the development, evolution, and delivery of non-technical Sales and Aftersales qualification programs.
* Manage a high-performing training team to ensure consistent and effective program execution.
* Leverage customer experience data and stakeholder feedback to design training that meets both dealer and business needs.
* Drive continuous improvement of training materials, programs, and the learning management system in collaboration with the Group Training Administration & Marketing team.
* Build and maintain strong partnerships with external training providers and vendors.
* Foster effective internal relationships across all brand stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful training outcomes.
* Oversee budget planning and management, including expenditures, purchase orders, invoicing, and performance reporting.
* Collaborate with senior leadership to evaluate training effectiveness and identify opportunities for innovation.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following:
* Background in Dealer Operations, Marketing, Product Marketing, CRM, and ideally within Sales, Aftersales, and Marketing functions.
* Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering training programs, particularly in product, sales, and/or aftersales domains.
* Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
* Advanced stakeholder management and influencing skills, with a track record of building strong relationships across diverse teams and levels.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a practical, operational mindset.
* Knowledge of Learning & Development systems and training methodologies, including hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital training too
