About the Role
As an Identity Tester, you will support quality assurance for Keycloak-based authentication in a distributed environment. You will validate modern authentication behavior (OIDC/SAML), SSO, outcomes, and security controls (e.g., MFA / certificate-based auth where used), and provide high-quality test evidence suitable for regulated delivery contexts.
Responsibilities
* Executing test cases for OIDC/OAuth2/SAML authentication flows, SSO, and identity brokering.
* Validating outcomes (e.g., directory integration behavior, claims/token mapping results).
* Validating MFA and strong authentication flows where configured.
* Logging, tracking, retesting defects, and maintaining test artefacts / execution evidence for releases.
Qualifications
* 1–2 years' experience in system/integration testing (IAM or security platforms desirable).
* Foundational understanding of authentication protocols and token-based auth.
* Strong analytical and documentation skills; comfortable producing test evidence.
Requirements
* Current Australian Government security clearance (Baseline, NV1 or higher).
* Must be willing to work onsite 5 days a week.
