Role Summary:
As a key team member, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing environmental reserve networks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ground Fire Management: Support and deliver on ground fire management activities as part of Council's program.
* Vegetation Works: Perform tree and vegetation works including pruning, mulching, brush cutting, planting, and dispersal.
* Invasive Plant Management: Manage invasive plants and apply herbicides using various methods.
* Asset Maintenance: Maintain assets and assist with related construction tasks.
* Debris Removal: Remove debris and litter from natural areas.
* Environment Reserve Management: Undertake tasks aligned with Council's Environment Reserve management plans.
* Machinery Maintenance: Conduct pre-start checks and basic maintenance on machinery and weed control equipment.
* Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment used by the field crew.
