Role and Responsibilities
As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in delivering a comprehensive, integrated range of services designed to meet the needs of the local community through the Whyalla Clinical Services Team for inpatient and outpatient services. Working within a multi-professional team, you will apply preventative, early intervention, treatment and evaluation approaches to support meaningful client outcomes. At the AHP1 level, you will develop your clinical capability under the direct supervision of a Regional Senior Occupational Therapist, contributing to service delivery as you build confidence and experience. At the AHP2 level, you will draw on your growing clinical expertise to plan, implement and evaluate services with reduced clinical direction, and may also support the supervision and development of less experienced staff, assistants and students.
About You
AHP1
* You must hold a recognised qualification within the Occupational Therapy profession and be eligible for full membership of the relevant allied health Professional Association.
* You must be able to deliver clinical services using established methods and standards.
* You must be able to apply professional judgment with Clinical Senior support.
* You must be able to provide one-on-one, group and health promotion services.
* You must be able to manage and prioritise your workload.
AHP2
* You must hold a recognised qualification within the Occupational Therapy profession and be eligible for practicing membership of the relevant Professional Association.
* You must be able to apply professional expertise in increasingly complex practice.
* You must be able to use judgment to adapt methods and techniques.
* You must be able to deliver clinical and consultative services across settings.
* You must be able to manage workload and support team resource planning

Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category A (direct contact with blood or body substances)
