Project Manager Role Overview
The Project Manager is a vital position responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of construction projects. This role requires strong engineering skills, excellent communication, and project management abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support Construction Leads to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
* Develop project programs to achieve required outputs with resources, labor, materials, and plant.
* Monitor and review costs, invoices, and claims for allocated projects.
* Contribute to constructability through design development.
* Evaluate and award subcontract procurement packages.
* Analyze document and record management, progress, and project performance reporting compliance.
* Demonstrate people management skills by managing workforce and subcontractors.
* Liaise and coordinate with external parties and relevant statutory authorities as necessary.
Requirements:
* Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Science, or equivalent.
* 6+ years of engineering experience.
* Desirable: pre-contracts knowledge and health, safety, quality, and environmental management expertise.
* Client relationship and stakeholder management experience is beneficial.
* Proficient in MS Office and possessing a driver's license and white card.
