What You'll Be Doing
* Assisting with food preparation and maintaining kitchen cleanliness
* Supporting efficient delivery of catering services for theatre shows, conferences, and events
* Collaborating with a dynamic team to uphold high standards of food safety and presentation
Availability
You will need to be flexible with rostered shifts, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends, to support MECC operations.
Essential
What we are looking for:
* Experience working in a commercial kitchen
* Sound knowledge of food safety and handling practices
* Strong team spirit, communication skills, and a proactive work ethic
* Attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment
* Availability across a rotating roster
Desirable
* Hospitality qualifications
* Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
* QLD "C" Class Driver's Licence
