Our world class manufacturing sites are located close to some of the best renewable plantation pine resources in the world - Bell Bay in Tasmania & Tarpeena in South Australia. Our fit-for-purpose indoor and outdoor plantation pine products are suitable for building new homes, renovation projects and other industrial manufacturing applications including packaging, pallets, and furniture components.
About the role:
Due to continued growth in the business, we are now searching for a skilled Boiler Operator to join our team working on a continuous rotating roster between day and night shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of material moving and handling in the Kilns area and working in a small team of people to safely achieve targeted production outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Operate as a Boiler Operator on a continuous rotating roster (day and night shifts).
* Manage all aspects of material moving and handling in the Kilns area.
* Work with a small team to safely achieve targeted production outcomes.
Qualifications
* An outstanding safety record and an ability to coach safe behaviour in others
* Forklift licence with experience moving awkward or heavy objects (such as timber)
* Boiler Licence
* Proven leadership skills
* An ability to maintain production outputs whilst working unsupervised for long periods
* An eye for detail and accuracy
* Own car and licence
* The ability to interpret and follow production schedule
* Exceptional communication, numeric and literacy skills
* Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
