In this role, you'll:
Works as a Senior Workforce Policy Advisor to join the Workforce Policy team. The team is charged with developing and implementing new workforce policies and procedures across Transport that are consistent with legislative requirements and industrial instruments, while balancing the individual needs of each Transport agency.
Reporting to the Senior Manager Workforce Policy, you will be part of a collaborative work environment accountable for improving and implementing a range of policies and procedures that explain and operationalise employee obligations and entitlements. Working closely with a variety of stakeholders, you will have the opportunity to be involved in many challenging and rewarding people improvement projects that will genuinely make a difference.

About you
We are looking for a passionate individual who has a strong background and experience in developing and updating workforce policies and procedures in a large and complex environment. You demonstrate integrity, tenacity, high level stakeholder management skills, excellent writing skills and attention to detail, and the ability to undertake broad research and analyse the results to recommend solutions. A solid understanding of human resources, authorising legislation, and the industrial framework that applies across Transport will be a distinct advantage.
You have a customer-centric focus and understand the importance of aligning policy, processes, and systems in delivering improvement outcomes for your customers. You are proactive and enjoy working both independently and collaborating with a team to achieve results.
