Job Overview
The Electrical Superintendent is a key role in our team, responsible for overseeing and directing electrical operations within the construction site. This position requires strong leadership skills, with the ability to supervise and direct electrical craft personnel, subordinate supervisors, and other assigned teams.

Main Responsibilities:
* Provide safety leadership to electrical personnel, implementing safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
* Inspect the site for unsafe conditions and practices, taking corrective action to address any breaches and maintain compliance with Bechtel's safety standards.
* Cordinate safety training programs and enforce safe work practices at all times, in conjunction with the Environmental Safety and Health Supervisor.
* Champion the cause of zero accidents, promoting a culture of safety and well-being among team members.
* Evaluate and optimize craft labor, schedules, and equipment usage, ensuring effective use of resources and meeting project timelines.
* Liaise with Labor/Industrial Relations for recruitment and training of electrical craft personnel.
* Review and approve subcontractor mobilization and demobilization, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
* Implement corporate project policies, procedures, and instructions within the electrical operations scope.
* Cordinate area operational plans, working closely with operations teams to achieve project goals.
* Perform construction testing as required, providing input to quantity tracking applications and reporting installed quantities to Project Controls.
* Prepare material requisitions for tools and consumables, coordinating with Procurement to obtain necessary materials.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A university degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry experience (8 years minimum).
* Extensive experience on LNG construction sites, preferably with previous roles involving large project scheduling and directing multiple crews.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, with heavy industrial direct hire construction experience.
* Computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
* A working knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards.
