Regional Manager | Rental Solutions | Central
We are seeking an experienced Regional Manager to lead our Rental Solutions business across the Central region (NT, SA, VIC & TAS), driving safe, profitable growth and building high‑performing, engaged teams across multiple sites.
Energy Power Systems Australia (EPSA) is the authorised supplier of CAT® power systems across Australia, PNG and the Solomon Islands. We provide sustainable energy solutions through new and used engines, generators and hybrid systems, supporting customers across mining, construction, industrial and infrastructure sectors.
Our Rental Solutions business supports customers with end‑to‑end rental solutions, providing equipment, service and ongoing support for as long as our customers need it. Our solutions include:
* Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
* Air compressors
* Temperature control solutions
From short‑term hire to long‑term operational support, we partner closely with our customers to ensure reliability, performance and continuity of power.
The Opportunity
As Regional Manager – Rental Solutions, you will take full accountability for the performance, safety and growth of the Rental Solutions business across your allocated region.
Leading multiple branches and teams, this is a hands‑on senior leadership role where you’ll be highly visible with your people, customers and dealer partners. You will translate strategy into action on the ground — strengthening safety culture, uplifting capability, driving commercial performance and delivering sustainable growth.
You’ll work closely with the General Manager and the Rental Solutions Senior Leadership Team, while providing strong, clear leadership to Branch Managers and regional leaders.
What You’ll Do
* Lead, coach and develop Branch Managers and regional leaders across multiple locations
* Set clear expectations, drive accountability and role‑model EPSA values
* Build strong succession plans and develop future leaders
* Create an engaged, high‑performance and safety‑focused culture
* Own end‑to‑end P&Lperformance for the region
* Deliver EBITDA, revenue, utilisation and growth targets
* Monitor budgets, forecasts, costs and asset returns across all branches
* Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational efficiency
* Build strong relationships with key customers and Caterpillar dealer partners
* Ensure effective execution of regional sales strategies and pipeline activity
* Support major customer negotiations, tenders and escalations as required
* Identify growth opportunities aligned to the Rental Solutions strategy
Safety & Leadership
* Lead a safety‑first culture through visible leadership and active involvement
* Ensure compliance with WHS systems, processes and regulatory requirements
* Proactively address risks, incidents and safety improvements across the region
Operations & Service Oversight
* Ensure branch operations and maintenance activities deliver exceptional customer service
* Optimise asset deployment, availability and whole‑of‑life returns
* Maintain strong governance, reporting and compliance standards
What You’ll Bring
* Demonstrated ownership of regional P&L and commercial performance
* Strong sales and customer engagement capability in B2B environments
* Experience in equipment rental, power solutions, industrial services, mining, construction or infrastructure
* High commercial acumen with the ability to turn data into practical action
* A solutions‑focused mindset with strong resilience and decision‑making skills
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
* Exposure to Caterpillar products or dealer networks is desirable, but not essential.
