ABOUT US
Typo exists to make life less serious.
Our community are an eclectic mix of creatives who find joy in the everyday. They are the driving force behind our brand, inspiring us to create products that are anything but ordinary.
Stationery is the cornerstone of our brand, it’s at the core of who we are and it’s where we started. We believe that stationery is more than just pens and paper; it's a form of art that allows individuals to express themselves and connect with others. We've evolved over time, broadening our range to create fun, unexpected and innovative gifts, and lifestyle products that are anything but ordinary.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This isn’t just a product role—it’s a chance to lead Typo into its next creative chapter.
We’re on the lookout for a visionary Head of Buying who’s ready to challenge the status quo and shape the future of our product experience across stationery, gifts, travel, and lifestyle.
In this role, you’ll turn insights and inspiration into products that surprise, delight, and stay ahead of the curve.
You’ll work hand-in-hand with our Trend team to translate global movements into big ideas—ideas that connect with our community and reflect our anything-but-ordinary DNA.
With commercial acumen and creative flair, you’ll set the product strategy and build ranges that deliver growth across all channels.
WELCOME TO THE ERA OF REINVENTION
Typo is 15 years young, with a global presence and an ambition to become the number one destination for stationery, gifting, and travel.
As we step into a bold new era of innovation, we’re evolving how we work—embedding design thinking, embracing rapid experimentation, and putting the customer at the centre of every decision.
As Head of Buying, you’ll be a driving force in this transformation.
You’ll lead a high-performing team, nurturing a culture of curiosity, originality, and accountability.
You’ll champion creativity outside the lines and empower your team to create products that are as playful as they are purposeful.

At Typo, we’re not your average retail team—we’re a bunch of bold thinkers, creative doers, and stationery addicts with a soft spot for the unexpected.
We’re proudly part of the Cotton On Group family, but we’ve always marched to the beat of our own doodle-covered drum.
Never afraid to color outside the lines—our culture celebrates individuality and thrives on creative energy.
From graphic design to eComm, marketing to product development—no two journeys look the same at Typo.
We believe in building careers as unique as the people behind them, and we’re passionate about helping our team grow into the roles they’re made for.
And beyond the good vibes? We’re on a mission to make a real difference.
