What’s on offer?
We are currently seeking a Management Accountant to join our Finance Team for our Fulton Hogan Utilities business, based in Dulwich and reporting to the Finance Manager. As a Management Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting financial governance, project reporting, and providing insights for strategic decision-making.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced project environment, enjoys partnering with operational teams, and is passionate about delivering accurate, insightful financial analysis. We offer excellent employee benefits and pathways for further growth.
In this role you'll be responsible for:
* Assist with annual budget & strategy forecast preparation and periodic forecast updates by actively working with key internal stakeholders
* Preparation of monthly reporting financial packs, which includes month end processing, reconciliation and P&L variance analysis
* Reporting and analysis of large scale projects involving the ability to strategically assess financial risks and control measures
* Monthly P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow Forecasting
* Implementation of business systems, processes and analysis reporting to optimise business performance
* Ensuring compliance with internal process and statutory requirements.
To be successful in this role you will have:
* Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in an Accounting or Finance discipline, including CA/CPA (or equivalent) qualification (or currently working towards it)
* Well-developed knowledge of finance activities within the construction, infrastructure or engineering industry sectors
* Strong interpersonal skills and attitude to want to develop and make a positive impact
* Ability to build strong partnerships across the business and engage with a range of stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes
* Strong Excel skills, and attention to detail
