Job Summary
Housing Manager is a key role within the Community Services Directorate, responsible for effective and efficient management of tenancies within assigned properties. The Housing Manager will engage with tenants to ensure they adhere to their tenancy agreements, including timely rent payment and property maintenance.
About This Role
This temporary position available immediately for a period up to 12 months with possibility of permanency. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing tenancies, communicating with tenants, and maintaining accurate records.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is between $93,784 - $98,967 plus superannuation. In addition to a competitive salary, employees in this role will also receive comprehensive benefits, including leave entitlements and professional development opportunities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A full Class C driver's license is required to undertake the role.
* Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required.
* Cultural awareness and the capacity to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are highly desirable.
