Job Description
The Mining Operations Assistant is responsible for providing support to the mining team in various tasks and activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting in drilling and blasting operations
* Dipping and tying shot patterns, priming and loading blast holes
* Maintaining accurate records of drill holes and other relevant data
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a strong work ethic and ability to work safely and productively in an open-cut mining environment.
* Hold current Drivers Licence
* Already hold a Security Clearance (UHL) or be willing to obtain at own cost
* Provide recent work referees
* Able to undergo and pass Order 43 Coal Services Health medical and D A Test
* Able to undergo a police check
