We are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to take ownership of day-to-day operations within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role is key to ensuring production targets are met, teams are supported, and continuous improvement opportunities are realised.
As Operations Manager, you will play a critical leadership role, working across production, supply chain, and maintenance functions to ensure smooth operations, safe practices, and consistent performance.

Key Responsibilities
* Oversee all daily site operations, ensuring production schedules are met safely, efficiently, and within budget.
* Manage and optimise inventory of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods in partnership with Procurement and Warehouse teams.
* Plan workforce requirements and coordinate staffing levels to meet operational demands, including overtime and maintenance scheduling.
* Drive operational improvements through the application of lean principles, identifying opportunities to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
* Lead, mentor, and develop staff at all levels, building a high-performing, collaborative, and engaged team.
* Ensure strict compliance with Work Health & Safety (WHS) policies and industry standards.
* Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve operational issues quickly and effectively.
Skills & Experience
* Proven leadership experience in an operations or production management role within manufacturing (FMCG or related industries preferred).
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to implement practical solutions.
* Solid understanding of production processes, supply chain, and workforce planning.
* Exceptional communication skills, able to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
* Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* HACCP Team Leader / SQF Practitioner (or willingness to obtain).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
