The Mill Inn is seeking a Cook or Chef to join the team Using only the freshest local produce, our restaurant is well known for its diverse and modern cuisine.
As a Chef / Cook, your daily responsibilities will include:
* Assisting our team in maintaining an efficient and proactive kitchen operation across both venues
* Ensuring all meals are of high quality and are prepared on time
* Utilising a variety of fresh, frozen, and prepared ingredients to prepare, cook, and present a range of dishes according to a seasonal menu
* Practicing effective stock rotation and wastage minimisation procedures
* Assisting with menu changes when required
Successful Candidate:
To be successful in the role, you will possess the following:
* Previous experience in a fast-paced commercial kitchen
* Availability to work any hospitality hours
* Ability to work well under a high-pressure environment
* Brilliant communication skills to all team members
Applicants should have formal qualifications and at least 1 years of relevant employment experience or, in the absence of formal qualifications, have at least 3 years of relevant employment experience.
Benefits:
The successful candidate will be provided with the following:
* Full-time salary between $65,000 - $85,000 + Superannuation depending on experience
