The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Service Desk Analyst is responsible for delivering timely and effective first level ICT Service Desk support services for school, preschools and corporate-based customers throughout the Department for Education for South Australia (the Department).
Responsibilities
Deliver timely and effective first level ICT Service Desk support services for school, preschools and corporate-based customers.
Utilise incident and request management processes to promptly restore normal service operations, efficiently fulfill standard service requests, or identify and assign them to the appropriate support teams.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of ICT Service Delivery operations and maximise ICT support service provision.
Apply best practice processes, including the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework, in combination with strong ICT technical and communication skills.
Contribute to the delivery of the Delivering Digital ICT Master Plan and the ongoing improvement of ICT infrastructure services for government schools and preschools.
Qualifications
Essential:Nil
Desirable:ITIL v4 Foundations; A tertiary qualification in an ICT related discipline or equivalent experience
Special conditions
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed, renewed every five years before expiry.
The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course, updated every three years.

Remuneration
ASO3 $67,589 - $72,033 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%) and leave loading
