About the role
Based in our Osborne Park office and reporting to the Manager and Editor of Custom Publishing, this part-time (24 hours) entry-level position involves writing informative and engaging advertorial content for clients, as well as articles across a broad range of topics.
This position contributes to the Advertising Department by producing print features for The West Australian, The Sunday Times, PerthNow and Regional mastheads as well as weekly products in the property space.
Key Responsibilities
Writing client copy and articles across a diverse range of topics and industry sectors.
Liaising with advertisers on a daily basis to deliver positive client outcomes.
Undertaking research and interviews to produce relevant and high-quality stories that support and enhance client content in various products and features.
Working collaborating with sales teams within the Advertising Department to secure revenue opportunities.
Developing positive relationships with key industry people and organisations.
Representing the Company in a professional and courteous manner.
About You
A qualification in Journalism or Communications and copywriting experience.
Strong research, interviewing and writing skills.
Strong time management and organisational skills.
The ability to work under pressure and maintain high-quality work in a deadline-driven environment.
A strong work ethic.
A valid driver's licence.
