We’re looking for a passionate, forward-thinking IT Portfolio Manager based in St Marys, NSW to join our IT APAC team and lead the transformation of our processes and achieve our long-term IT objectives.

Acting as a strategic link between IT and business units, you will identify opportunities for improvement, translate business needs into technology solutions, and drive the delivery of streamlined, user-centred capabilities – ensuring technology initiatives are relevant, effective and aligned to customer and organisational priorities.

What You’ll Do

Develop a deep understanding of our products, services and customer touchpoints to support informed decision-making

Build trusted relationships with business stakeholders and act as a key liaison between business units and IT

Partner with business leaders to uncover needs, define requirements and shape technology solutions that deliver value

Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders

Provide strategic consultation to internal clients, guiding them through product capabilities and options

Champion client satisfaction by resolving issues swiftly and effectively, ensuring service excellence

Act as the voice of the business and end users – advocating for their needs throughout the solution lifecycle

Take ownership of outcomes – ensuring the final solution meets expectations and delivers business value

About You

Tertiary qualifications in business, IT, management, marketing, communication or related field (postgraduate or MBA are highly regarded)

8+ years of proven experience working with business products and solutions, ideally within the manufacturing industry

Demonstrated experience as a Product Owner, IT Business Partner or in a similar role bridging business and technology

Previous experience as a Relationship Manager or in customer service roles with a strong stakeholder engagement focus

Solid understanding of functional business domains and how they operate within a manufacturing context, particularly in parts & services

Sound knowledge of the software development lifecycle and testing methodologies and proficiency using standard IT tools

Hands-on experience working with cross-functional IT teams to deliver technology solutions that meet business needs

Strong business acumen and the ability to communicate complex ideas in a meaningful way to non-technical stakeholders

High emotional intelligence with a proven ability to build trust, manage conflict and establish strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders

Customer-focused and proactive approach, identifying win-win opportunities for customers and the business
