We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our clients' Emergency Relief Services team, playing a vital role in helping people impacted by disasters seeking information and access to services.

Peak season runs from November to April
Start & Finish Times:
8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Requirements:
Applicants need to be available at short notice and flexible to work short- to medium-length contracts depending on disaster response requirements.
Primary Tasks
The Disaster Response Hotline plays a vital role in helping people impacted by disasters seek information and access services provided by the Emergency Relief Services team.
People-management of a team of DRH operators, including rostering.
Coordinate daily operations and reporting for service-delivery continuity and performance.
Collaborate with the Incident Management Team and Strategy Capability teams in developing scripts and referral strategies.
Handle complex or escalated calls.
Provide quality assurance of calls and effective use of the CRM system.
Identify potential areas for process improvement.
Key Skills / Experience
People-management experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Understanding of call-centre operational systems (desirable).
Ability to work under pressure, with strong coordination and time-management skills.
Problem-solving and project reporting capabilities.
Empathy and cultural awareness.
