As a professional in claims handling, you will play a key role in managing a portfolio of claims from inception to resolution. This involves investigating liability situations, gathering and analyzing medical and rehabilitation data, assessing claim value, and negotiating settlements.
The successful candidate will have experience in handling CTP or personal injury claims and possess sound analytical skills and technical knowledge. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential for building rapport with stakeholders and delivering high-quality customer service.
* Management and negotiation of claims, including communication with solicitors or direct claimants
* Obtaining and reviewing medical, financial, investigative, and rehabilitation reports
* Ensuring legislative compliance timeframes are met while maintaining accurate assessment of individual claims
* Adopting cost-effective strategies to resolve claims
* Providing early access to rehabilitation to aid injured claimants in achieving optimal recovery
* Negotiating claims settlements with solicitors in line with legislative and procedural guidelines
What you'll bring:
* Sound knowledge and experience in handling CTP or personal injury claims
* Tertiary qualifications, including Legal, Allied Health, or Insurance, would be advantageous
* Excellent analytical skills and technical knowledge
* High attention to detail
