Qualifications & experience
- Previous experience as a Logistics Coordinator / scheduler for 3 years.
- IT proficient in Microsoft Software (e.g. Word, Excel and etc.)
- Education in supply chain or logistics is preferred.
- A good understanding of COR.
- Experience within the arboriculture & heavy vehicle industries highly desirable.
- Experience with Job scheduling software (Simpro) desirable.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Plan, schedule and oversee daily labour requirements
- Collaborate closely with project and service managers, to ensure customer satisfaction are maintained through timely execution
- Ensure all labour, equipment and hours are allocated against the correct job in Job scheduling software (Simpro)
- Follow up with operators to ensure labour and equipment hours are recorded and reconciled daily in Simpro in preparation for invoicing
- Collaborate closely with the fleet manager to ensure all the assets and supplies are used efficiently
- Booking accommodation for employees working on regional jobs
- Identify process bottlenecks
- Build and maintain relationships with operators and contractors
