Urban Shoemakers is behind two of Australia and New Zealand's most exciting independent footwear brands - EOS and Los Cabos; now expanding into the USA, Canada, and Europe. We're looking for a Product Development Coordinator to help bring seasonal collections from concept to shelf.
Based at our loft studio in St Kilda, you'll work hands-on with designers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams across the full development cycle - from concept and tech packs through to samples and production.
This is a 100% in-office role. Footwear development is physical - you'll need to see, touch, fit, and adjust samples in real time.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
* Manage end-to-end tracking and approval of prototypes and samples
* Create tech packs and product renderings using Adobe Illustrator
* Manage product specifications across the full lifecycle
* Liaise with offshore suppliers on sample and production schedules
* Schedule and document fit sessions aligned to the critical path
* Maintain the product master document and range boards in Trello
* Conduct trend analysis and competitor research
* Permanent right to work in Australia (required)
* Strong Adobe Illustrator skills for renderings and tech documentation
* 1–2 years in footwear or apparel development (advantageous, not essential)
* Experience with offshore supplier timelines and production management
* Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
* Mandarin is a bonus (not required)
