Collection Site Risk and Compliance CoordinatorThe Collection Site Risk & Compliance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that Agsafe's national network of over 800 drumMUSTER and bagMUSTER collection sites meets contractual, safety, and infrastructure standards.This Canberra-based role is primarily office-based and focuses on contract development and negotiation, infrastructure risk frameworks, and compliance monitoring.
The role will coordinate and leverage Agsafe's national field team to complete on-site audits and facilitate site upgrades.By ensuring each site is underpinned by appropriate legal agreements and infrastructure standards, this role plays a key part in mitigating program risk and protecting stakeholder relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesContract & Stakeholder ManagementIdentify sites with missing, outdated, or insufficient contracts.Draft, negotiate, and finalise updated collection site agreements, including liaising directly with councils and private landholders.Maintain a register of agreements and manage renewal workflows.Infrastructure Risk & Compliance OversightDevelop and implement a national framework for assessing collection site infrastructure risk (e.g., signage, fencing, access, fire risk).Coordinate site reviews through the field team using standardised audit tools.Review audit outcomes and recommend actions or escalations where safety or compliance risks are identified.Field Team CoordinationProvide input for Agsafe's Regional Consultants regarding site audits and contract follow-up.Track progress of field activities and ensure consistent delivery against national objectives.Act as the conduit between field activity and national program compliance reporting.Data Management & ReportingOversee data integrity in Agsafe's CRM, SharePoint, and contract tracking tools.Produce regular dashboards and reports on contract status, audit findings, and risk exposure.Ensure site documentation is complete, accessible, and aligned with regulatory and insurance needs.Qualifications & ExperienceExperience in contract management or stakeholder negotiation, ideally within government, local council, or infrastructure environments.Strong understanding of risk and compliance frameworks.Excellent organisational and project coordination skills.Strong written and verbal communication, including report writing and stakeholder engagement.Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally (especially with field teams and technical staff).Highly RegardedExperience in AgVet, waste, environmental, or regulatory sectors.Knowledge of infrastructure safety, WHS, or public liability issues.Background working with CRM systems, SharePoint, and contract tracking tools.Familiarity with working in or alongside local government.
