We are seeking a motivated Permanent Part time Grounds person to join the team at our Palm Lake Resort Tweed Heads NSW. This role is PPT guaranteeing 22.5 hours per week 3 days a week.
As the Grounds person you will play an integral role to ensure the presentation of the resort grounds is kept to a high standard all year-round maintaining standards with weeding and watering common areas, hedge trimming, mowing & whipper snipping, planting, mulching and maintaining flowers and shrubs, and maintaining outside presentation of the overall facilities within the resort including pool maintenance.
As part of the role you will operate and tow the resort boat onsite, a current marine boat licence with relative operation experience and towing experience is essential.
Responsibilities:-
* Weeding and watering common areas, hedge trimming, mowing & whipper snipping, planting and maintaining flowers and shrubs, and any other tasks in relation to grounds presentation;
* General maintenance of the resort facilities and equipment.
* Pool testing and maintenance (training provided)
* Manoeuvring/launching the resorts recreational boats from pontoon/jetty for resident bookings;
* Light general repairs and maintenance around facilities;
* High pressure cleaning; not limited to maintenance of bins and golf of buggies
Ideally you will have:-
* Experience in a similar role;
* Must hold a current "C" class drivers license - essential;
* Must hold current Marine Boat licence with relative operation experience- essential;
* Current ACDC chemical ticket;
* Ability to safely operate equipment such as push mower, hedge trimmers, whipper snippers, spray packs and blowers;
* Possess the physical ability to undertake the requirements of the role, including bending, lifting and carrying.
