About the Role:
This role is an exciting chance to join a leading food services distributor and contribute to their success. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales growth across a designated territory by building strong relationships with customers and promoting our unique product offerings.
Main Responsibilities:
* Pursue sales plans to achieve revenue targets for your territory.
* Take full accountability for territory performance – protecting base sales, enhancing customer partnerships, optimising margins, and securing new business opportunities.
* Promote our value proposition, products, and services to foster customer loyalty and drive growth.
* Analyse data to inform effective sales strategies and objectives.
* Establish and maintain robust relationships with customers and suppliers to support business expansion and retention.
* Develop structured business plans to ensure customer satisfaction and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Comply with all legislative and company requirements, including OH&S, food safety, and chain of responsibility standards.
Key Requirements:
* A strong background in sales with proven achievements, preferably in the food service or related industries.
* High-impact communication skills with the ability to build lasting customer connections.
* Commercial acumen, self-motivation, and target-driven focus.
* Excellent time management, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficiency in digital tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
* A team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work independently.
* Experience as a former chef may also be considered.
* Fully qualified Work Rights and willingness to undergo an Australian Police Check are essential.
