This opportunity calls for a detail‑oriented, safety‑focused Pharmacy Technician who thrives in a busy hospital environment while maintaining a professional, consumer‑focused approach. You’ll bring confidence across a broad range of hospital pharmacy services—dispensing, imprest supply, inventory management, and kit preparation—while balancing teamwork with the ability to work independently and juggle competing priorities. Your experience with pharmacy computer systems such as iPharmacy, along with your flexibility to work rostered shifts, ensures you can meet the dynamic needs of the service. With a Certificate III or IV in Hospital and Community Pharmacy (Grade 1 or 2), you’re ready to contribute to a team that values reliability, capability, and genuine dedication to quality care.

Selection Criteria

To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.

Must hold appropriate qualification as per the Health Employees' (State) Award for the following classifications: Pharmacy Technician Grade 1 - holds a qualification in a relevant field up to the level of Certification III in Hospital and Community Pharmacy OR Pharmacy Technician Grade 2 - holds a qualification in Certificate IV in Hospital Pharmacy and Community Pharmacy Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills Demonstrated excellent customer service skills Demonstrated competency in dispensing, non-sterile production and distribution Demonstrated competency in using pharmacy computer systems Demonstrated ability to work both individually and in a team environment Demonstrated time management skills and ability to prioritise work flow Current unrestricted Australian drivers licence (P2 Licence Acceptable) subject to obtaining NSW drivers licence within 3 months of appointment.
